This is the loading area of the hall. Beneath the overgrown ivy in the center of the photo is the main garage door. This is where shows are loaded in and out. There is no loading dock so trucks usually park on the sidewalk to the left and are unloaded with a long ramp. Since there is no direct ramp access through the theatre to the Front-of-House area from the loading dock, Front-of-House equipment is rolled along the sidewalk to the front doors of the hall where it is rolled through the lobby to the FOH position. |
